Samsung-Netzwerkdrucker lässt sich nicht installieren

Hallo, wir haben gestern im Netzwerk einen Samsung-Drucker installiert. Ich hatte mich erkundigt, ob er unter Linux funktioniert; das sollte so sein. Und tatsächlich "krieg ich ihn nicht ans Laufen " mit dem stabilen KDE-Manjaro. Wenn ich im Browser "localhost:631" aufrufe, zeigt mir CUPS zwar diesen Drucker an, geht jedoch trotz klicken auf "Weiter" keinen Schritt weiter. Vorher hatte ich mich als root identifiziert.
Oder ich benutze die Software "Druckeinstellungen"; auch sie sieht den Drucker, hat jedoch keinen Erfolg beim Laden der Treiber. Doch sie gibt auch keine Suchmöglichkeit ein.
Ich habe aus dem AUR das Paket

yaourt -S samsung-unified-driver installiert.
Die angehängten Bilder illustrieren ein wenig die frustrierende Lage. Bei der versuchten Installation habe ich die Hinweise aus dem Arch Linux Wiki beachtet. Hat jemand noch eine Idee, was ich tun könnte?

In 1. zeigt der dir 2x Samsung an, 1x Drucker u. 2. wird wahrscheinlich der Scanner sein

Aber ich versteh dich schon richtig das er bei system-config-printer ( dem 2ten Bild ) sich schon auf die Suche macht, egal welche Verbindungseinstellung du verwendest, aber nichts findet und dann abbricht ?

Ich habe vorgestern einen Samsung Farblaser via Wlan (clp-360 Series) installiert. (Wird mir als Netzwerkdrucker angezeigt).

Dabei bin ich nach folgender Anleitung vorgegangen: https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Samsung-Laserdrucker/

Danach kam ich in das von Dir im Screenshot dargestellte Auswahlmenu. Habe iimmer nur auf Weiter gedrückt, wenn ich mich recht erinnere. Alsdann war der Drucker konfiguriert.

Mit Cups hatte ich dabei nichts zu tun. Auf dem Desktop-PC habe ich es genauso gemacht, also den Treiber installiert und ebenso weiter gemacht. Der Drucker ist jetzt über Wlan sowohl vom Notebook als auch vom Desktop-PC erreichbar.

Vielleicht ist das ja nicht die klassische Vorgehensweise, aber so steht der Drucker auf beiden Rechnern im Wlan-Modus zur Verfügung und das entspricht dem, was ich wollte! Zu meinem größten Erstaunen ohne Haken und Ösen.

Shame on me; hatte vergessen zu erwähnen, dass ich die entsprechende Treiberdatei aus dem AUR versucht hatte zu installieren ... Angeblich ist alles ok. Siehe bitte folgende Wiedergabe der KDE-Konsole:
