Hallo,

Da mir wichtige Programme unter Manjaro nicht mehr so recht zur Verfügung stehen würde ich gerne eigene aktuellere Pakete bauen.

Hier wollte ich es mal mit einem vermeintlich "hoffentlich" leichterem Programm (Photofilmstrip) probieren  ???


Habe mir also von AUR den letzten Snapshot heruntergeladen:

Dann habe ich diesen entpackt und im  PKGBUILD:

dann zuerst die pkgver=3.5.1 angepasst.

Für die MD5Sum habe ich mir über die Info-Taste von https://sourceforge.net/projects/photostoryx/files/photofilmstrip/3.5.1/ anzeigen lassen und diese auch geändert.


Danach bin ich ins entsprechende PKGBULID_Verzeichnis gewechselt im Terminal und habe mittels "makepk -s" die compilierung gestartet:

Okay es liefen einige Warnungen durch, aber es gab keinen Abbruch...


zum testen habe ich das ganze nun installiert mittels "sudo pacman -U photofilmstrip-3.5.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz":

Wie kann ich jetzt erkennen was der Fehler ist bzw. wie ich diesen beheben muss. Woher bekommt man dann am besten die entsprechenden informationen ohne das man zukünftig ggf. bei jedem einzenem Programm immer im Forum nachfragen muss?

Lese was von "asp" als Buildumgebung (wohl für Entwickler und fortgeschrittene.
Aber wenn ich dies suche weiß ich schon mal nicht was ich da installieren sollte?

Okay, kann das ganze mit yaourt probieren, da finde ich zumindest mal "pbget":

Hmm, arbeiten den alle Manjaro-Paketbauer mit dem "AUR" ?

Ich wollte ja auch wenn möglich ohne "AUR" arbeiten, weil ich in der letzten Zeit mit den Paketen von "AUR" immer mehr probleme wie vorteile hate.
Mein Gedanke war einfach das ich mich nur auf die Manjaro Repository beschränke und die Tools die ich über Manjaro nicht bekomme versuche selbst zu kompielieren und mir evtl.
später auf meinem NAS einen eigenes Repository anlege für meine Favoritten-Tools die ich gerne zusätzlich hätte.

Oder ist mein Gedanke mal wieder zu Quer und nur für "experten" möglich?

im AUR heisst das richtige Paket asp-https
[gosia@gosia-pc ~]$ yaourt asp-https
1 aur/asp-https 2-1 (0) (0,00)
    Arch Linux build source file management tool (with patch to use HTTPS by default)
Wenn Du das AUR nicht willst, wird es ein wenig (aber nur ein wenig) umständlicher, da es asp wohl nur in den Arch-Repos gibt. Du kannst es dir dort aber von einem Mirror ziehen:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/asp/

 

Noch besser ist wahrscheinlich. das Zeug von GitHub zu clonen:

danke für den Hinweis und den Tipps.

Leider bringt mich das ganze eigentlich nicht wirklich weiter.

Mit "asp" kann ich ja wie ich es richtig verstehe nur Tools selbst compilieren die
bereits in https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages enthalten sind.

Hallo,

da ich ein etwas Dümmlicher Manjaro Anfänger bin habe ich mich nun doch noch weiter durch gemogelt und habe es nun doch auch geschafft  ;)

bin wieder vorgegangen wie im ersten posting, jedoch habe ich mir nun auf der Seite des Entwicklers welcher auch ein Debianpaket anbietet das entsprechende Debianpaket "photofilmstrip_3.5.1-1_all.deb" heruntergeladen.

Dieses "photofilmstrip_3.5.1-1_all.deb" habe ich mir dann soweit entpackt um in dem Debianpaket mir dann die zu dem dazugehörigen Paket "control" anzusehen.

Hier sieht man ja schön welche "Depends", also die weiteren Pakete die dieses Programm benötigt.
Das schwierige dabei war jetzt eigentlich nur noch heraus zu finden, wie die dazu passende Debianpaket denn unter Manjaro lauten  :(

Hierbei wäre ich evtl. für einen Tipp wie man es einfacher herausfinden kann doch sehr Dankbar  ;)

Anschliesend habe ich dann in der PKGBUILD vom AUR meine entsprechenden Anpassungen vorgenommen.

Angepasst wurden die Abhängigkeiten, die Md-summe, und aus den Befehlen "python2.7" wurde nun einfach python, da ja mittlerweile Python 3.7 in Manjaro ist.

Somit lief die Kompilierung ohne zu maulen auch fehlerfrei durch und habe das kompilierte Programm auch auf einem Jungfräulichen Manjaro per USB-Stick kopiert und getestet (installiert) mittels:

sudo pacman -U photofilmstrip-3.5.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

Das Teil lies sich ohne Fehler installieren und laufen tut es nun auch auf dem Rechner von meinem Frauchen  ;)
